My 2026 Operating Plan: How I’m Structuring Money, Poker, Health, and Content

Most people set goals. Fewer people build systems that force progress even when motivation dips.

This is my 2026 operating plan. It’s not a wish list. It’s a set of priorities, rules, and execution metrics designed to compound over the year.

Financial Goals

Primary

In 2026, the financial focus is simple and aggressive:

  • Invest $30k–$40k across taxable and retirement accounts
  • Grow investable net worth by 12–15%

These are long-term compounding goals. They are not dependent on market timing or perfect conditions.

Secondary

Build $15k–$25k in non-W2 income, primarily from:

  • Poker profits
  • Digital poker products or coaching
  • Content monetization

This income creates flexibility, optionality, and leverage outside of traditional employment.

Execution Metrics

  • Automatic monthly investing
  • On the 1st of every month, invest 50% of prior month poker winnings

No decisions. No hesitation. Money moves automatically.

Poker: Skill + Income

Poker remains both a skill-building pursuit and a meaningful income lever.

Primary

  • Net $12k–$20k playing poker
  • Maintain:
    • ≥10 bb/hr online, or
    • ≥$20/hr live
  • Play 80 hours per month

Secondary

  • Identify and document one clear edge per quarter
  • Publish 52 hand reviews or session breakdowns
This doubles as study, accountability, and content.

Execution Metrics

  • Weekly volume targets
  • Hours played vs hours planned
  • Hourly rate tracking
  • Two study sessions per week
  • 5–10 hand reviews per week

The goal is consistency and trend improvement, not short-term variance chasing.

Content & Brand: Fish & Chips Poker

Content is the leverage layer that turns poker knowledge into scalable value.

Primary

  • Reach 10,000 total followers across platforms
  • Launch one monetized product per quarter
    • Guides
    • Trackers
    • Challenges

Secondary

  • 3 Instagram posts per week
  • 3 website posts per week, rotating:
    • Table Tactics
    • Hand of the Week
    • Challenge Updates
  • Experiment with streaming or YouTube
  • Publish at least one video by Q2

Execution Metrics

  • Content is batched weekly
  • No posting “when inspired”
  • Output beats perfection

Health & Performance

Health is treated as a performance multiplier, not a side project.

Primary

  • Reach and maintain target weight (-20 lbs.)
  • Lift 3× per week
  • Yoga 3× per week
  • Maintain a low-carb, high-protein diet

Secondary (Golf-Focused)

  • Practice 3–4× per week:
    • 2 short-game sessions (chipping + putting)
    • 1–2 full swing or range sessions
  • Play with purpose
    • 2 focused rounds per month
    • One specific performance constraint per round
(fairways only, no hero shots, wedges inside 120 yards)

Execution Metrics

  • Workouts logged daily
  • Practice sessions logged after completion
  • Rounds logged after play

What gets logged gets respected.

Personal Operating System

This is the layer that makes everything above work.

Primary

  • One annual theme
    Example: Consistency Beats Intensity
  • Fixed weekly blocks for:
    • Work
    • Poker
    • Lifting
    • Golf
    • Content

Secondary

  • Metrics matter more than motivation

Execution Metrics

  • Finisher Journals used daily
  • Weekly and monthly reviews completed
  • Adjustments made based on data, not emotion

The 2026 Challenge

This plan isn’t theoretical; it isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things repeatedly. It’s a live execution challenge.

Execution beats intensity. Systems beat goals.

Challenge start: January 5, 2026

From that date forward, every part of this plan will be tracked publicly:

  • Poker volume and results

  • Study and hand reviews

  • Content output

  • Health, training, and golf practice

Wins and misses included. No hiding behind goals.

If you want to follow along, see the systems in action, or run a version of this yourself:

Stay tuned and follow.

More details, tracking templates, and weekly updates coming as the challenge begins.
