Week 6 Challenge Update

I added more volume this week. Missing both weekend sessions hurt, but I had my grandson’s birthday and my mom’s birthday back-to-back, so no poker those two days. I still put in 13 hours and booked a $205 profit.

This week opened with a few coolers that knocked me back early. I lost several flips, and the premium runout was brutal. I picked up AA four times and got no action. KK showed up a few times and only got paid once. QQ came three times and I lost all of them.

The bigger leak was paying off in spots where I should fold. That cost me about $100 this week. If I had avoided those spots over the last two weeks, I’d be up roughly another $400. That alone would put me over the $2k total mark and above a $28 hourly.

Holiday week is coming up, so my focus is to get at least two sessions in.

Target profit for the week: $250.
